About Us
History
Hypower Heavy Current Maintenance (Pty) Ltd was established in December 2002 by the amalgamation of three companies (Multilayer, Unitrade, Xtrelec) which had been operating extensively for some time in the Cape region.
The amalgamation presented us with the opportunity for improvements in the newly founded company, which allowed an overall utilization and improvement of all combined resources. This enabled us to offer a broader and well-established service offering improved technical and operation skills. Our improved response and time management lead to better customer service with regards to availability and efficiency.
Due to expansion, a branch in Johannesburg was established in 2012. In 2016, Hypower acquired a company called, Hi Tech Transformers with the aim of further expansion to skills and expertise.
Currently we are a proud employer of 68 staff members.
